When a book has you chuckling within the first couple of paragraphs you know you are in for a fantastic read and this is exactly what you get with this book and latest offering from the Lovestruck imprint.

From the moment our heroines skirt rips down the seam revealing a pink thong to our hero, to the very last page that I finished with a goofy grin on my face, I loved this book.

This was not your typical boss/underling trope. While yes our H/h Will and Claire both work at the same company and yes you could call him her boss. It’s not really that straight forward. We get the pleasure in this book of meeting the three, yes three Anderson brothers. They all run the company, so hence the not your typical trope reference.

In Will we get the returned soldier who was publicly humiliated by his bitch of an ex-fiance and who now doesn’t want a HEA and is happy to run the security side of the business. Away for the office preferably. But that all changes when his brother Michael calls him to the office and he has a interesting encounter with Claire.

Claire, there is so much to love about her. She cared for her grandparents when they became sick and eventually passed and now is taking a temp job for money till her inheritance lands in her bank account. The last thing she expected was to be caught up in a spy scandal but this is what happens.

Watching these two fall for each other was a delight. The sparks fly from their first meeting and continue to spark hotter and hotter the more time they spend in each other’s company despite the whole spy thing hovering over their heads. Will is drool worthy in his pursuit. You will see what I mean when you read it.

“She just made out with her boss against the door of her apartment. Like seriously made out with him complete with some grabass.”

The end of this book had me alternating between sniffles, chuckles and sighs. I also can’t wait to read stories for Will’s two brothers Michael and Chance. They will no doubt not go down without a fight.
This is yet another author to that will be added to my ever growing must read pile.

I received a copy of this book, but will definitely be buying a copy too because I loved it, from the publisher for an honest review.

I love the Entangled Lovestruck imprint almost as much as I love the Harlequin Romance imprint. They are fun, flirty romances focusing on the couple, giving me plenty of heart warming romance for a warm, satisfying read.'

This story has all the elements of a good romance that I love. Great heroine, wonderful hero, no muss, no fuss, great relationship building and general all around feel good stuff.

Claire is a great heroine. I love Claire. She's raw, honest, real and funny. She's a genuinely kind and caring person who is optimistic even though life has dealt her a raw deal. She doesn't wallow in the past but looks forward with hope for the future. When she meets Will, even though she knows she shouldn't, she decides to give in to the attraction because she wants to live and experience life and love. I loved that about her. My heart stuttered at one point when she unselfishly sacrifices her own happiness for someone else and her selflessness made me love her all the more. Fortunately, Will saw beyond her sacrifice and went after her in a spectacular fashion.

Then there's Will. What is there not to love about Will? A hot, handsome, filthy rich ex-Marine who has been burnt by love. You know he's just waiting for the right woman to come along and heal his heart. He's strong, kind, direct and goes after what he wants, and what he wants is Claire. Some of my girlfriends (I'm looking at you, Bambi) love a bad boy or an alphahole, but not me. I love a good guy, a nice guy, and Will is just an all round nice guy, so there's plenty about him I love. He's definitely a guy of grand gestures and is every girl's fantasy, if what he does for a first date and a weekend away is any indication (I won't tell you what it is and spoil it for you!), but gee, it must be nice to be filthy rich. There's a scene on the airplane and what Michael (his brother) says about it afterwards ... Cracked me up!

An all around, very enjoyable read. I'm looking forward to the next Anderson brother.

Claire and Will were amazing together—hilarious, straightforward, sexy, and friendly. They shared an excellent sense of humor that transferred into the bedroom and made sexy scenes even better! 😂 The way that there was almost zero lead-ons was such a nice change. You know, when a person feels a certain way but they disguise it and it’s held out for so long and then the other person has doubts about the feelings in the relationship, but then eventually the truth comes out? And you wish they just would have been honest to start with? Well in this book, they are! And it just makes things hotter. Tssss!! I would read and reread this again and again! Those Anderson brothers... yes please!
